The reconciliation 

They had been going out for about two months, they hadn't formalized their relationship yet and that was making Brad nervous. Today he would pressure Angelina to take a decision it was making him really anxious not knowing if the future he saw with Angelina was real. 

Brad picked up a bouquet of flower before meeting her in the hotel, because words had gone out and people was after a photo of them together, they decided to meet at the hotel room. When Brad arrived she was already there looking as flawless as always. He approached her noticing that she was distracted " hey! I thought I was coming early" she turned around and have him a kiss on the cheek " you are on time, I arrived earlier, I needed to relax and Maddox wasn't letting me". They ordered and waited for the food to arrive, by the time it arrived they both had drunk half a bottle and now were a little happier. While dining Brad thought of asking Angie about their relationship's future " Ang, where do you wanna take this? I mean we can't keep meeting at hotel rooms. It is just bad. I don't want to hide my feelings for you" Angelina's face changed, this wasn't the usual Angelina, she normally would answer him without doubt " I don't want to talk about it right now" this wasn't enough for Brad, he needed some kind of answer " do you at least see a future in this relationship? Do you at least love me?" he didn't know how far he could push her buttons , but the next sentence told him that he had gone too far " please leave, I need some time alone" she didn't look at him, she didn't say anything else " but Angie, come on, we haven't even finished dinner" she stayed in silence until Brad left. 

Brad attempted to reach Angie the next couple of days but every time he called her, the phone number didn't seemed to work. After a week he stopped trying, he felt like such an idiot, he should have stopped when she told him she didn't want to talk about it. It was his fault that now he didn't have a future at all, he missed Maddox and he missed her. Two days later Brad went grocery shopping and saw Holly buying some stuff too " Holly, hi! How are you?" she turned around " oh! Hi Brad! I'm fine and you?" he looked down " I have been better, how is she? Is she ok?" Holly gave him a sad smile " she is ok, but she has been better, she is ok because Maddox needs her, otherwise I don't know..." Brad needed to let Angie know that he was concerned about her " can you tell her that I miss her and that I'm worried about her " Holly nodded. 

Holly finally talked Angelina on getting out of the house, they had arrange on going to grab some drinks. Angelina left Maddox with her mom and went directly to the bar. She arrived and sat down to wait for Holly, after a while she realized that next to her George and Brad had sat and now were taking some drinks, she heard him saying " I just feel bad, maybe I pushed to hard and that's the only way she knew how to respond. It is my fault but I love her and that little kid so much that I'm dying to hear something about them " after hearing their conversation while having some more drinks she decided that it was time to go, so she texted Holly saying that she felt sick and got up, but when she did she realized that she had drunk a little too much and almost fell. She felt a hand grabbing her arm and when she turned around she saw his face " I'm taking you home, you can't drive this way". 

The next thing she knew was when she woke up the following day, she saw him sleeping on the couch next to the bed, in her mind the phrase that he said to George kept replaying "It is my fault but I love her and that little kid so much that I'm dying to hear something about them". She didn't realized that he had woken up until he said " I hope that you are not mad at me for taking you to my place, but I didn't know where you were staying " she sat up in bed " do you want to sit closer to me? I'm feeling kind of lonely here" he sat next to her and didn't say anything " Brad, look. I know I pushed you away but it was the only way I knew to protect myself, but to answer your questions, yes, I do see future in this relationship otherwise I wouldn't be in it and I do love you, I really do" Brad got closer to her until their faces where mere inches apart, they could feel each others breath " good to know that you love me so I can do this" he closed the distance between them with a sweet but passionate kiss.
